Black Dog Surfing is another of Byron's premier surf schools. Their surfboards are softtop Malibu's, created for surfschool use. They provide a soft, safe surface to learn on, with rubber fins that don't cut. Black Dog students have a range of surfboards to practice on, with the majority of learners selecting the nine foot long or longer Malibu. Students that fall in love and adopt surfing as their sport learn on our full range of boards and generally after a ten day course are riding a seven foot board!
