East Coast Blues and Roots Festival

Byron Bay is home to a number of festivals - all interspersed throughout the year. These range from single day to week long events. Perhaps the most famous festival in Byron Bay is The East Coast Blues and Roots Festival.

The festival originated in 1990 at the Famous Old Piggery at the Arts Factory - then playing to a capacity crowd of 1500. Now, the show attracts around 12,000 people a day for four days.

With another massive line up, its sure to sell out and accommodation in Byron Bay will be ahrd to find so if you've nto got your tickets and accommodation sorted by now, you really gotta get a wriggle on.

 Fir the first time in ages, the festival is being held back at the Belongil Fields which is awesome for the campers at the main camping grounds are jsut next door.
